Welcome to our July 4th party hub page.
Kelli and I host a July 4th party every year so we can spend time with friends
and family, enjoy some good BBQ, shoot some fireworks out back,
and just have a Great time.
We ask our guests to bring an item for a donation to Operation Kindness.
Then the following weekend, we take all the things to them.
After our first annual party, Kelli and I went to Operation Kindness
to drop off the donations.
We left them a truck load of donations and came home with Sarah.
I really need to stay out of that place.
Every time I go there, I feel the need to help , not just one, but all of the
dogs.

A little bit about Operation Kindness.
Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas.
We have saved more than 45,000 animals since our inception.
We care for an average of 150-200 animals on a day-to-day basis, with another 60-80 animals in foster homes.
More than 2,500 dogs and cats are adopted from Operation Kindness each year.
Operation
Kindness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
and receives no government funding. All of our income
comes from donations from individuals and businesses, adoptions, fundraising
events and the sale of pet-related merchandise.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Operation Kindness is to provide quality care for homeless or unwanted cats and dogs in a compassionate, no-kill environment until they are adopted into responsible, loving homes, and to be a leader in our community in promoting humane values through education and awareness.
OUR VISION
Our vision is a world where all cats and dogs have loving, responsible, forever homes.
